Brenda joined the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame in October of 2014. She has been a volunteer as part of the catering staff for the HOF shows since 2006.
She was introduced to country music at a very young age by her mother who was, and still is, an avid fan of the valley country musicians. As a child, most Sundays were spent touring many of the jamborees that took place around the valley where she was introduced to many of the valley’s finest like Ralph Carlson, Bob King, Ron McMunn and the Family Brown.
In 1990 she met Rodger Coulombe and they married in 1995. As a wife of a very busy musician, she has had the opportunity to continue to enjoy the many talents in the Ottawa valley.
Brenda has spent over 30 years in the Federal government in various roles including Project Management, Procurement and Training which has provided a wide range of administrative skills.
